Vacancy for a research associate in the Neurobiopsychology research group

The Neurobiopsychology Research Group (Prof. Dr. Peter König) of the Institute of Cognitive Science invites applications for

1 Research Associate
(Salary level E 13 TV-L, 75 %)

to be filled as soon as possible on a fixed-term basis until December 31, 2018.

Description of Responsibilities:
The position involves participation in the research activities within the EU-funded research project Socialising sensori-motor contingencies. The project investigates processing multimodal information and sensori-motor integration under natural conditions and utilizes a variety of methods. This includes particularly the development of a demonstrator for augmentation of HHI by deployment of sensori-motor contingencies. This demonstrator will showcase a novel interactive approach for exploring web contents.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants are expected to have an excellent academic degree (Master/Diploma) in Cognitive Science or related fields. They should have experience in psychophysical and physiological experiments, extensive programming experience including distributed processing in master/client architectures, as well as a good command of the English language.
